1. Lots of books and pages to copy decorations from. Illumination books, clip art, magazines, etc. 2. 2H pencil and pointer. 3. Grid paper, 17 x 22. 4. Tape; masking or repositionable scotch tape. 5. Perfamanata paper. 6. Sakura pigma pen .005 7. Gouache in colors you've chosen to do your decoration in. Zinc white and Jet black. 8. X-acto knife with #11 blade for cutting and #16 or #10 for scraping. 9. White plastic eraser. Like Staedtler Mars. 10. Winsor & Newton Series 7 #1 pure sable watercolor brush. 11. Water jar, pallette, water dropper, bristle brush to feed your pen (Grumbacher Eterna #2) 12. 23 K transfer gold leaf. 13. Sobo glue (a small amount). 14. Burnisher; a dog tooth agate burnisher or bone folder or grifold burnisher set (3 burnisher tips). 15. Glassine or clear mylar. Some pieces about 5 x 5. 16. Piece of silk. 17. Scissors just for gold. 18. Ruler, T-square, dividers, triangle (All for lining up the page). 19. Pen Holders & Nibs of various sizes. Mitchell Rexel #3, 3 1/2, 4, 5, 6 or Brause 1 1/2 mm, 1 mm. 20. Soft bristle synthetic brush (such as Winsor and Newton 995 3/4"). |
